Round table discussion on the subject "PRIVATE MATTER"

Münchner Volkshochschule in collaboration with the Munich Biennale, festival of new music theater; with the friendly support of the Department of Arts and Culture of the City of Munich

This year's Munich Biennale of new music theater is conceived as an artistic research space on the subject of "private matter." However, one hears more and more rarely the call for protecting private matters. In a perfidious mixture of conceitedness, curiosity, laziness, and thoughtlessness, the digitally-connected person publishes more or less everything that still was considered to be a private matter a few years ago. Professor Armin Nassehi (full professor of sociology at LMU Munich, specialist in the sociology of culture); Daniel Ott (artistic director of the Munich Biennale); and Marion Hirte (dramaturge of the Munich Biennale) will present aspects of this subject in short lectures and will discuss the artistic positions of the festival.
